I was looking at property near Goree and found out a solar farm is being built within 10 miles or less and based on what I can find, it’s close to 5k acres. Tough to say from the map posted online, but I don’t think it’s going to butt up to property we looked at, but it’s going to be close. Anyone hunt close to one the monstrosites and if so, how has it affected hunting in your area?

Do you have a link to the map posted online?
I’ll look into it for you
For it is not the quarry that we truly seek, but the adventure.

I would be more concerned about property values This If it is close enough to see it, then it will affect your property value, and not in a good way.

Meh, we have a 3000 acre solar farm about 5 miles from us and can't tell any impact at all - including property values. Totally fenced in so the deer likely just resettled to adjacent properties. I would much rather have a solar farm in the area than wind turbines. Turbines are much more obtrusive to both sight and sound, even though their footprint is smaller.
