Had a great weekend chasing Antelope in eastern Montana. Hunting these little things is a lot of fun, long stalks, getting blown, all of it. Connected on this one with my friend of 50 years. We both ended up moving to Montana, although at different times. Finally put it all together on the 4th herd we came across. We both were shooting at this one, he says I put the kill shot on it but was hard to tell, especially when the target is moving. Now we move on to elk!

took speed goat while working on ranch in Dakota's.
Tried for mule deer, they kept a hill ahead of us.
Seen three big mulie's 2/3rds down a slope in some trees blocking the wind.
Didn't have me rifle.
Applied for elk hunt in NM (think it was) didn't get drawn.
