I’ve got 3 possible shooter bucks amd multiple smaller ones on camera and they’re all midnight feeders, along with 1 doe and a giant, fence-hopping pig. Happens every year. They never show up in daylight…and dissappear altogether Nov 1. I can’t figure out how some of y’all are tagging em diring shooting hours.

Just wait for the Rut...and a hot doe near your stand. That's all you can do

And hunt the hard weather, the colder the better. They gotta eat then. 'Everyone else in camp rolls over? Get your butt out there!

change timer settings to where the food supply is during daylight hours, stay out longer, agree with hunt the bad weather ... and hunt as much as possible once the rut starts, they might slip up stupid and show themselves

Ive never really experienced any large number of nocturnal deer(Im sure they exist). Unless Im unaware of them completely then I usually always see them in daylight. Especially if they eat my corn cause its only available during the day. What seems weird is we have an 80 acre wheat field totally surrounded by timber and deer are out there ALL DAY long. They bed down out there in the middle of the day. Im used to deer LEAVING a field at daylight but you can watch these deer COME OUT into the field at daylight.
At some point in life its time to quit chasing the pot of gold and just enjoy the rainbow. FR Keep your gratitude higher than your expectations. RWH

The ones that disappear when the rut starts will often times show back up after the rut. Hunt late season. All the way through the end of January if you have a late muzzleloader season.

You definitely want to have NO feed for them at night. The biggest thing is to stay away from your stand location before season. Fill feeders around noon time as well as anything else that needs to be done. Keep your stand area "quiet."

I was able to bag my 12 point that fed at around 21:00-22:00...my feeder was set to go off around 24:00. I set my feeder to go off at 04:00 am ...I finally got him at around 07:15 am.

Don't forget...hunt whenever the moon rises and when the moon is straight up ...no matter what the phase. This doesn't always work but when your trying to time a good buck, what do ya have to loose. Hunting by the moon is just one more thing in your favor. Be in your blind one hour before. You will see mostly does but it is this time of year...anytime is a good time.

They'll move in daytime more once temps start decreasing into 70s for highs, 90s are tough on deer and humans. They will further increase their daytime movements during the rut as has been mentioned. Good luck!!!
