Here's a photo of three does that strolled through about an hour and half later. I seldom see any bucks on this small, 75-acre tract until the general season gets close and then once the season opens, it's not unusual to see five or six different bucks during the first two or three weeks. The does seem to hang around throughout the year and the bucks always seem to come looking for them as the rut draws closer. Then they hang seem to hang around for weeks as we do our best to keep the sounds of human activity to a minimum. No feeders at the landowner's request so there's no routine trips to keep them full and running.
