I've got lots of rubs, lots of scrapes, and bucks checking when they show up at feeders. It should heat up quickly as we're barely a month away from peak in Mills county. If it cools off/rains late next week, that could flip the switch for some does.

Yep I sat last night and the little bucks are sparing and 2 smaller 8 points were cruising. Had one of them at 25 yards, but too small to let an arrow fly.
I'm feeling good about this year.

About right for lots of places. I have seen mature buck breeding a doe October 15 in Eastland County, Small bucks were chasing the week before.

Made it to the woods yesterday evening. I didn't see anything but my podna couple trees over have a mature buck slip thru head down tail up. Then a spike right before dark.

Sat again last night saw 24 deer mostly does & babies, but did see a nicer 8 point just before dark.
It won't be long.

Zmenard......seen a couple deer dead on Hwy 12,. Live deer on 62 north of m'ville, more than normal. Activity has picked up of late.

Been seeing bucks pushing doe on camera few a couple of weeks now. Excited for my kid's hunt this weekend.

I seen a really nice buck on 87 heading towards dville the other morning. He looked like he was on a mission for sure!
