I've heard about Victor for a while. He's famous on our mountain in SE OK. They call him Victor because of the white V on his chest. I don't think he's a record breaker, but I wouldn't want to piss him off. I'm guessing around 8' at the top of his head.

No real restrictions in my county. Since I don't reside there it would be about $700 to hunt bear or anything else.

Come on up my way. 2 tags a year every year for residents and even non-residents can get 1 tag every year. Last time i recall looking it was about $200 for a non-resident tag but the devil is in the details as non-residents are required to use an authorized guide which will add 1 to 3k to the cost depending on the package you chose. Resident tag is $35 - i typically fill one every year.

OP - nice looking bear. If he really is 8 feet that is a big boy. Killed a 7 footer a few years back he went 345 lbs. Make a mess of good sausage and crock pot roasts.
