A young couple are bow hunting my Montague County property. I just texted one. He said he had seen a doe with 2 young ones and another bunch of 8 does together.

Rut hasn’t started

Without a sense of urgency, nothing ever happens.

Boy, if I say "sic em", you'd better look for something to bite. Sam Shelley, Rancher Muleshoe Texas 1892-1985 RIP

Warm in the blind this evening

Went this morning- saw nothing. Spent the afternoon trying to get my Aggies out of Jerry World with a W.

My wife and sons were at the game.

Me and the girl went hunting

Game cam captured the exact moment I got caught drawing back on him.

Bummer... Only non-spike buck I saw this weekend in legal hunting light and he busted me.

I need to add some thicker brush behind the treestand so that I don't get skylined again.
