My honey is finally getting the wrap-around porches added to this 'ol RanchHouse, and a covered carport on the side! smile

Dirtwork and forms set - rebar going in now - hopefully pour concrete tuesday if weather permits!

As a side-bonus, was finally able to figure out all the irrigation/bonus exterior waterlines the old guy had put it,
including a 300' line and a 800' line I finally found the shutoff valves for, to be able to use them, instead of hoses!! banana farmer

The AC condenser unit may not going to happy under a cover. I expect the condenser air discharge will recirculate inside the covered area. In simple terms, cond unitprobably will not breath. Hope you have made plans to relocate unit.

If this was my project, I move it . You might call a HVAC guy to survey beforevyou pour.

If the 2nd amendment was written just to include guns for hunting, why is there not an amendment to protect fishing poles?

You are absolutely correct! wink
The ac condensers are getting moved to the side of the house in a spot with no overhead covering - so we don't have to hear them also when sitting on the porches!
A Mitsubishi 2.5T 3-zone Hyper-Heat minisplit is getting added too so I can get-rid of the window units in garage and for 2 additions to interior space. grin
That condenser pictured has since been raised a foot on 'stilts' so they can get a complete pad/pour underneath it - final move will happen in a few more weeks when it cools-off a bit!

FYI, here is a site-aerial of the home on our property - from a few winters ago... (goes up to the green line).
20 acres open ag-hayfield in front, 20 acres of Wildlife-exempt woods in the back.
That is Lake Ray Roberts off to the top - we're a couple miles north of the Johnson Branch Entrance!

That orange box is where the shop is going to be built - still saving up for that project! wink

You can't tell from the photos, but in the back it's 105' long (not incl walkway to carport),
the front is 77' long,
and carport pad is 25'x21'.
All poured with circumference / support beams!

Now to get the porch covers built, and the carport built!

Will check back in - in a few weeks!
