Ooooo. I’ll watch tonight.
Love hunting behind hounds. It’s a yearly hunt for me.

Thanks for sharing Creek. Great film! I hope it reaches the audience intended and has a true impact with the current sweeping propositions in many Western states. Unfortunately it’s going to continue be an uphill battle trying to reason with those of the mindset that killing anything is purely “for sport” and “inhumane”. (Sorry neighbor, I won’t call your biologist friend to come relocate the rattlesnake in my front flower beds. But thanks for deliberately stopping to offer me your solution). Many simply refuse to see it any other way and bask in the publicity of being noticed or for garnering an audience all while having zero knowledge or facts about the related topic. None want to learn or be educated (LECTURED TO) about any topic they disagree with. And now we are inhumanely treating the hounds. Most of those dogs have it better than the large majority of house pets in the big city and maybe even some people. I have begun to realize most that are in opposition to something know nothing about what they are opposed to yet only do it to be seen or heard. If someone could bottle up common sense and put it in a Starbucks drink we could solve the world’s problems. DFD! So….when is our hound hunt?

So….when is our hound hunt? Set it up. With one of those nice young hound women, preferably. You know I do better with a young, fit woman that I'm afraid to cry in front of.

I've never done it either. It makes me miss the mountains terribly. And I do miss the occasional, as in every few years, climbing up in a saddle and riding back in them. (A horse that is someone else's. ) I truly love horses (and dogs), but wasn't cut out to take care of a horse. My grandfather raised Tennessee Walkers. He loved them dearly. I've watched an outfitter talk to his mules like you sweet-talk a woman. They're amazing creatures...with, at times, a real "mood." I have seen them pitch a fit when they smell a bear. It can become quite the rodeo!

Great video. Never hunted lions but a friend of the family used to let me go along with and his dogs when hunting raccoons in the hill country. Spend quite a few nights going up and down a few creeks. Not sure at my age I could do that anymore but sure would be fun going through those mountains.
A clear conscience is often the sign of a fuzzy memory.
