Have her try on a pair of Rocky 1570 lace up boots. I am a short (5'6) around 150# and they fit me well and probably will probably fit woman well.
This is my second pair, these are 2 years old, my first pair lasted over 20 years.

Depends on how much you want to spend and how much she’ll be wearing them. My wife has used the Academy Magellan brand for almost 10 years with no complaints.

My GF has Chippewa women’s snake boots. Excellent quality. My wife has these and loves them. We both tried the Bass Pro Rocky boots and they were uncomfortable for us. She wears the Chippewa all the time riding ATV's and working around the ranch.

Go somewhere with multiple brands and let her comfort make the selection. I can’t remember what Wifeypoo purchased after trying 3 or 4 at Dilley Feed, but she does not hesitate to wear them
