Got a video of some axis and I am curious those that know well what your thoughts are on these three bucks I filmed recently. none have been shot I am just curious how big everyone thinks they really are because they look monstrous to my untrained eyes

Why were you filming instead of shooting? flame Dude that wanders by in the back in the first video is the best, but all 3 look good. They're drifters and may move on through, unless you're in a river bottom.

Axis often have ground shrinkage. That one should go 35" which gets it to gold medal status, I think?

Hard to tell how big the two fighting are. One is mature but can’t tell what his rack is.

Buck back is a shooter, looks like 33-34” to me. Score wise his brows and caudel times are huge but certainly satisfactory.

I am anti scoring axis deer. I prefer the length measurements only. P

this was the buck I was able to kill 32" beams and I can definitely attest to ground shrinkage is real for axis but couldnt be happier with my buck [Linked Image]
