Any one quail hunt in Sutton County? Wondering what y'alls populations look like? Our numbers seem to be climbing slowly over the last 5 or so years. We attempted our first hunt last season but didn't get on any.

I have a deer lease in Sutton County...we heard a lot of bobwhite calls May-July...but I have not been much since then and have not seen any chicks on the ground the few times I was out there...

'Have heard them more than before this year on our place in Kimble and finally saw one in the road this Spring. I had the TPWD biologist lady out here and she said she's getting calls from people saying "We saw quail. What do we do?" She tells them to pray for the same amount of rain next year. up

Yeah I hope the rain stays like it has been. All of our deer look really good too!
