I’m planning an out of state hunt in Arizona this January. What expenses beside gear, license, and gas? We plan on camping, I think I’ve got everything but just want to make sure I don’t forgot something major.

Warm clothes if going to AZ in January to chase mule deer

For it is not the quarry that we truly seek, but the adventure.

check their hunter education rules. i was surprised years ago when i found out i needed the class to hunt in several states. Even though i am older than the necessary age requirement for Tx.

You will need a permit to carry meat across state lines.
