Doesn't look big enough for Alaska moose.
I've called in a bunch of Shiras moose and got charged by one I shot.
When you see the whites of their eyes you better run.

Moose are indeed big. Crazy how tall they stand compared to a human. Definitely got in close on that one. Cool video. As far as his rack goes, doubt he gets anywhere close to a 50" spread. My guess would be low to mid 40's. Pretty animal regardless. This could be from any state, province or territory with moose.

A wise old hunting buddy gave me some very sage advice..."Never shoot a moose unless it's standing in the back of your pickup".

I've never heard about the pickup shot but have heard several times to not shoot them in the water if at all possible.

A 50" Idaho bull from last week. Head, antlers, and cape run about 100+ pounds. They make a person look tiny!!
