Would you bow-hunt an archery-only WMA during "special" late muzz season, if the county is one that has such a season? Think, first. I honestly can't find an answer after speaking to the area manager, as well as a game warden. I honestly don't think anyone knows except a few law-makers. The LEO's/manager definitely did not know, and had never been asked before. Manager said to ask a warden, warden said they "enforce the laws", which was a defensive measure he took because he did not know the answer. Basically, it was up to me to figure out the law, and I better beware that whatever it was would be enforced. Thanks buddy!
And remember, the question is: Would you hunt continue to bow hunt during the muzz season in an archery-only WMA, after general season closes and the special late muzzleloader-only season opens?
Please don't open a discussion about figuring this out. I know you don't know the answer. I'm asking if you would hunt it.

Not after reading the law posted above. You may face consequences that keep you from hunting at all the next year or 2, wildlife violator compact.

I would not hunt when the answer is ambiguous. In this case, I know the answer as stated above because I've asked the question before. If I think the law gives me a window and have a reasonable probability of success if challenged, I would. But even if I wasn't aware of 65.11(A) I wouldn't.
As an example, I've hunted LBJ without orange during archery season (middle of the week) even though the printed non-order information for the NFS said it was required. There was an exception in the order for wearing orange specifically for LBJ. It appears that order has expired (I think it is 2 years if an order is not renewed) but when it was in force, I would if it was the middle of the week.
No matter how high a duck flies a hammer still breaks a window.

It is spelled out in the outdoor annual in various other places too. https://tpwd.texas.gov/regulations/outdoor-annual/regs/season-types/archery-onlyArchery and Crossbows Only the archery and crossbow equipment prescribed in this section may be used for taking game animals or game birds. Archery and crossbow equipment may not be used to hunt deer during the Muzzleloader-Only Deer Season.Archery and crossbows are lawful for non-protected nongame animals. https://tpwd.texas.gov/regulations/outdoor-annual/regs/season-types/muzzleloaderMuzzleloader Only White-tailed Deer Season A muzzleloader is any firearm that is loaded only through the muzzle. Note: A cap and ball firearm in which the powder and ball are loaded into a cylinder is not a muzzleloader. Muzzleloader deer seasons are restricted to muzzleloading firearms only.

its not a technicality, its an black/white issue. No archery during special muzzy season
For it is not the quarry that we truly seek, but the adventure.
