Drew the general rifle deer for Aransas NWR for early DEC. Looking forward to it. Never hunted it. Anybody got any first hand knowledge or experience there? Gonna get on google earth later today

Make sure you have a thermacell and take plenty of mosquito repellent.

Gonna get on google earth later today lol, you are in for an eco system shock Thermo cell, maybe even bug mask and snake boots. Marshy with tall grass, a lot of people use portable aluminum tripods.

Oh wait forgot you arent in Amarillo any more you went down south. It’s typical coastal marsh and grass. Lots of hogs and deer though
