Just realized I may have posted this in the wrong section so moving here for the public hunting topic.
I have done days and days of searching what I could and it seems most of the NWR hunts are really tough hunts with low success rates. The one WMA I am not sure of is Laguna Atascosa NWR. While a Nilgai would be cool, I am really just after white tail. I know the numbers are low for successful Nilgai hunts and for archery deer hunts. I have also read of people posting they saw plenty of deer. How much success are hunters having with a gun for white tail?

I shot 2 whitetail on this hunt years ago. There are wt there for sure. PM me if you want info
