2 weeks ago I was several times able to approach a dove within about 10 to 15' which I though strange. Yesterday I had 2 sitting on a table on my deck. Then the strangest thing happened. I walked out of house into the garage and there was 1 sitting on the mat in my garage right by the door. My brother said there is a TP&W article about dove exhibiting Mad Cow symptoms. The article stated to clean feeders daily and even quit feeding.

Trichomoniasis Is common in doves. They have trouble eating and breathing. It doesn’t make them go mad. This time of year I would guess it might have flown there with some #8’s in it.

I thought about that. Lots of shooting going on in wheat field just to my east.
