Howdy. I plan on getting back into white tail hunting out in Van Zandt. I haven’t been out since my oldest was born six years ago. I just looked through the TPWD app, and it says we can kill two bucks and only one can have an inside spread greater than 13 inches. Am I crazy or did it use to be all bucks had to be greater than 13 inches in spread? Did the antler restrictions change? Also, we use to only have antlerless deer hunting during the general season around Thanksgiving. Now it says it is for a whole month during general season! Am I reading this correctly?

Ahh I see. So anything with an unbranched antler has to be wider than 13. Makes sense.

No,
2 unbranched antler bucks any size or spread
OR
1 unbranched antler buck any size or spread and one 13" spread or wider buck
Just shoot does, they are easy to judge and taste good!

Got it! Thanks for the clarification. So does can be taken by rifle at any point between November 2 to December 1?
