School me on phone scopes and similar products, I have a IPHONE 13 and a Leupold Sx-4 pro guide 15-45-65mm spotter and sig kilo 6 Binos. The iPhone has the otterbox cover I’d like to keep if possible, I’d like something I can use on both spotter and Binos . When I looked into products there are so many different options it’s just confusing to me and I don’t want to get the wrong stuff lol I’m old and not very tech savvy

I want one too so I’m hoping for some insight myself.

Options that allow you to keep your same phone case: Magview, Novagrade, and Scopecam. There is a concise review here that outlines each. I have no experience with any of them however I have been considering one for a while. https://www.rokslide.com/best-phone-digiscoping-adapters-for-the-2023-hunting-season/

Then, there are the options that require a new phone case which is not what you are wanting: Ollin, Phonescope,

I use the Phone Skope connected to a Swarovski spotting scope. It was very easy to pair the phone with the optic it is going to be connected to.

You do have to take your phone out of the protective case.

I’ve used ollin, Magview, Novagrade, and phoneskope

I’m firmly in the Ollin camp even though I didn’t want to change out phone cases. If you don’t use MagSafe iPhone the magview is next best thing for not changing cases. If you do use mag charging feature might as well swap case to Ollin, 2 second change

Ollin self aligns in both vertical and horizontal directions

The issue is indexability. Ollin is the only one that is truly 100% indexable immediately. But it requires a different phone case. It is a robust phone case, very much on par with a otterbox, but it does require a different case.

The others all require some "finagling" to get the camera lined up (indexed) perfectly each time you "load" the phone. Once loaded, it is fine. But will take at least 10 seconds (magview) up to 30-60 or so seconds (phoneskope) to line up and get it perfect. Is that time worth the ability to use the otterbox case and not need a separate case? ask someone who "loads" the phone multiple times in a day. For someone who loads it once until they are done and the scope isn't moving around and phone isn't coming on and off, maybe not a big deal. But the way I am ADD, I pull my phone off and use it, then put it back on, then pull it off and put it back on, etc....having the Ollin system where I just put it back on to the scope perfectly indexed every time, makes my day a lot easier.

Ollin sounds awesome. It’s just not compatible to all spotting scopes yet. Email customer service and was told that they have had an abundance of requests for Athlon Ares scopes. But not in production yet.
