Love me some good sausage and sour kraut !!!! Can remember mom making sour kraut in white stone type crook pots in basement. Always put a plate with a rock on top of it while it cured. Haven’t had any that was as good as what she made.
My Yote toys, Ruger 77 22-250 Foxpro 416B & numerous hand calls ************ God would never send Firefighters to Hell because we would put the fire out!

That`ll work for me. No one in my family will eat Sauerkraut and I really like it. My mother made Sauerkraut and wieners all the time growing up. She would drain the juice and let us drink it. I make it at least once a year just for myself.

I love kraut and always have a jar of Steinfelds in the house for hot dogs or brats. Albertsons is carrying a single pack now called Franks. A little dry, but has good taste. For less than a buck, I put several in the cooler when out hunting or fishing.

I make sauerkraut on a regular basis and always have at least a couple of pint jars in the fridge. It's the perfect topping for the bratwurst I make from feral hogs.
I have two unwritten rules: 1. 2.
