that one buck in the last picture will never have to worry about the minimum spread requirement. He’ll die of old age, vehicle, or coyotes. Damn shame. Don’t get me started on the spread rules One in the near back left of that third photo looking like the bachelor herd I have around. They are returning without velvet now. Excitement is growing.

The buck in the last picture....looks like his antlers are fused together at the bases. He must have had a skull plate injury. Sometimes bucks like that wont shed and other times they shed both antlers as one piece.

I t The buck in the last picture....looks like his antlers are fused together at the bases. He must have had a skull plate injury. Sometimes bucks like that wont shed and other times they shed both antlers as one piece. I think I posted this photo a while back. Very strange base.
