Is that a Great Blue Herron? Gorgeous! Yes. That one hangs around there all the time. I suspect it's the high density of frogs.

Is that a Great Blue Herron? Gorgeous! Yes. That one hangs around there all the time. I suspect it's the high density of frogs. Not sure if endangered; but a rare bird when I was taking Field Biology class in college. Sure could use his frog eating abilities at my place around the dogs water area.

They are hard on the fish in ponds.
