I have a 2018 Polaris Ranger 900 I am considering selling. What is the best way to get a value for sale or trade? Everything I have looked at doesn't value the cab, lift, wheels, tires, lights, wench, etc.

Modifications don't always add a lot of value. Some add significantly and some detract.
Pass the gravy.

I would say run the base model and see what that compares to MSRP and use the same % value for accessories and that might be high end. Agree with above that accessories do always add value or even hold value as not everyone wants what’s added. Might be better to part those out if you’re trying to maximize monies.

Depends on what the wench looks like she could add to or kill the deal.
Sorry couldn't resist. Good luck with the sale

Have you tried using the J.D. POWERS value listing? It has replaced the N.A.D.A. method and is available on line. It will give you the list of add-ons to build your value. But it is only a guide, all you can do is take that and try to compare what your pricing is for your locale and see what is the pricing for your area.

You generally don’t gain anything from aftermarket add ons. This is true for toys and vehicles for the most part.
Your best bet for determining value is looking at Facebook marketplace or craigslist, find a few similar and watch them to see if they sell. I don’t like the value websites, those are based on a formula and not actual sales.

I suggest that you look around on the internet to see if you can buy something similar to what you want to sell. If you can find the info, it’ll give you an idea on possible sales value. That approach has worked for me a couple of times.
Or, sell the cab separately. Somebody somewhere wants one, and has the vehicle already. Then sell the vehicle.

Value it for what you think it is worth. Put it out for sale. If it sells quick you priced it too low. If it does not sell after a certain amount of time, it is probably priced too high. Easy
