10 days to go. Long term forecast is for a 50% chance of rain in my part of Texas for September 1. There are some birds around. Im guardedly optimistic right now. A change in the weather could foil my plans. Five days left. Short rain shower yesterday where I had a few birds located. Chance of rain all week that may move around the local birds I’ve been watching. Is it bad ju-ju to go buy the jalapeños, cream cheese, and bacon for poppers early? My dogs seem to sense it’s almost that time of year.
