Made me a batch of pineapple tomatillo salsa. Always a nice refreshing salsa in this summer heat. They serve this at Abuelos restaurants and I’ve always liked it so started making my own. Good stuff.

Do you peel the tomatillos?

I like brass and lead with a little powder in between

Just remove the husk and rinse, no peeling.

I just made a big batch of Hatch chile salsa. I may have to try this at some point, substituting the Hatch chiles for jalapenos.

Thanks for the recipe, just made a batch! Tweaked it up a little and roasted the tomatillos, jalepenos and onion in a pan. Chilling in the fridge now, going to try it after I mow this afternoon.
