Dove hunts offered near LaCoste & Yancey, Texas Both south zone

LaCoste field $100 per gun 30 min from downtown SA. Black oil sunflower & sorghum good mix of WW & Mourning (later on mostly mourning) & some Ringneck

Hunt one weekend day each week. Limited hunter numbers. SWWS dates are full, Opening day regular season, Sept 14th full. Sept 22nd & 29th-only Sunday hunts

Fair amount of Pigweed, a preferred "wild" seed of dove that was not in planting plans, but field is fully planted with sunflower & sorghum & doing very well. Winter split is going to be great as well.

Straight up, can expect pretty good dove shooting but as work in progress temper expectations.

Opening day Sept 14th AMG came out and had pretty dang good dove shoot at LaCoste field. Almost all mourning plus 4 Asian ringnecks. Some WW came to field but weren't taken.

Hunting Sunday Sept 22nd & have some spots available.

Would like to hunt Friday Sept 27th if Bexar area hunters can do a Friday. Was scheduled Sunday Sept 29th but date conflict w/hunters seems evolving

$100 a gun LaCoste field

Holler if interested

Yancey field is still OK number of dove but a late flight w/ short shooting time, Holding off there until better return on time invested to shoot versus travel happens.

LaCoste field 2nd split, Dec 13th thru Jan 21st. $80 per gun 6-7 hunters max

Hunting weekends thru Jan 19th

Have lots of sunflower & sorghum on the stalk & on the ground from shredding.

Good numbers of mourning dove coming to the field, also very nice # of WW hitting the field as well. We'll see how long they stay.
