I was given bits and pieces of feeders from a few friends and members on TBH. Turns out they all fit together with a bit of work. Proud that I have learned enough welding to make all of this work. The original leg holding "hoop" had to be augmented. I ended up welding 3 square tubing leg adapters onto it then adding the round legs into the square adapters. Once I had those in place I drilled them all together so they stay stable and don't move much. If you pay attention to the feeder control box it is obviously too big for this older American Hunter style plastic hopper. After redrilling a few holes and moving the sliders a little we were cooking with fire. I lucked out and have this all put together at a small farm on the outskirts of Johnson County where I have been doing all sorts of small engine repair for the widow. Brush hogged a 40' by 40' area with a push mower and set everything up. Let's see how it goes this year. Also still have a place near Whitney that I get to hunt. Looking forward to what this year has to offer.

If you look back over your life are you fully satisfied you pleased the Maker of Creation. Are you fully assured that you have trusted in His Son, Jesus Christ, for your salvation. Are you confident that you have a definite hope of going to Heaven?

I think you did a fine job. I was expecting to see an abomination (and I have seen a few!). If it works, it is good enough for backyard proud. That's all you need.

Might consider some T-Post or stakes on each leg to prevent something from turning the feeder over.
