My lakes were looking good, but they are dropping quick with these 100+ degree days.

Should be a push about my birthday...8/23...full moon on the 19th. And then with a full moon in the middle of early teal, 9/17, the last week, especially last weekend should be good too!

Full moon money. Hopefully get another last weekend. Shows my ignorance of moon phases. Prolly longer than that! Seems like best seasons we have had- full moon few days before season always the best.

Fished in Matagorda a few days ago. Didn't see any.

None yet in central Texas here, but did see couple ducks larger ones try to land on neighbors pond couple mornings
ago, will having morining coffee at daylight, and listening me old owl friend down at the bottom of creek giving his
opinion.

30-40 on the big tank this morning

Hearing sightings in W TX, I will be at my property in Fannin will report sightings. Still a week or so early IMO

I would rather not see them yet. In my experience we get about a week of good numbers moving through. Might get two good Saturday hunts in if we are lucky but they are lights out and one of my favorite hunts of the year.

Was working pup 7:45-8 yesterday, saw 3 groups 15-20 about 50 total- very early, but good to see

Had one land in my buddies mojo spread this morning. Bout 20 feet from him and his dog, spooked, then came back and landed 3 times lol

No teal but several wigeon.

Since the down pour this weekend I have 40-50 swimming in the field at my main gate

Two weeks ago we saw about 75 on our lease in SE Louisiana. Saturday we saw 10. Vegetation in the area is good so its not that. Teal doing as they do, here today gone tomorrow.

Thanks for reminding me!! Missed opening day last year because I forgot to grab my teal tag from Walmart the evening before. Pain in the [censored].
