Amazing what rain will do! How should I prep the mature sorghum and sunflower for dove hunting? Shred it or knock it down with a roller? Thank you

Shred a few passes every 2-3 weeks.

What I do is shred about 2-3 weeks before season, then more shredding about the 3rd week od September, and again about the second week of October.

How early are you planting?with the lack of rain I have tried to plant July/August and not seeing much til October
