I have for sale a trophy muzzleloader mule deer hunt for Oct 19th-23rd on a private ranch for $8,850.00. The price includes landowner tag, deer license, cost of the hunt, meals, lodging, and the use of my custom muzzleloader. This is a trophy mule deer hunt for bucks scoring 170+. We stay right on the ranch. So, no need to travel a long distance to the hunting area. The ranch is located in southeast NM in the sandhills. The ranch is strictly managed. There are a lot of mule deer there. It should be another great year for horn growth, with the ranch receiving a lot of rain this year.

Not to familiar with muzzleloaders. What's the range/distance for shots?

So, mine are custom built muzzleloaders. Shoot three 777 magnum pellets (180 grains) and a 300 grain saboted bullet, flying at 2273. Basically, a one-shot rifle. the range on mine is out to 500yds. Both of mine have muzzle breaks. Easy to shoot
Typical shots for mule deer will be between 250-400yds. The country is very open.

These are just a couple of really good bucks for this year. Lots of moisture this year. Horn growth will be better than last year.

The last time I hunted elk in NM with muzzle loader I was able to have a scope but heard that it may change to open sights only. Did they ever change the regulation?

Yes sir they did last year. This will be the second year. Both of mine are turreted peep sights. That is why the price includes the use of mine. It is extremely accurate.
