We're going over to a brewfest Saturday so I made some tart cherry fried pies to take with us.
Tried some smoked ceylon cinnamon sugar on some and they are great.
I had a bucket of tart pie cherries in the freezer from last year so fried pies it was and I made a jar of cherry bounce for the holiday season.

Looks very tasty up

There is a neat place off of Hwy 281 in Adamsville called Down Unda Trading Post which is between Lampasas and Evant that has great fried pies.
Also has a lot of great yard art.
