Hay guys I'm new to the forum and I have been making knives for 15 years. I'm new at this forum thing and would appreciate any advice for promoting my knives.
Back when I did not know beans about knives...........

Russell Green River kit blades with African Blackwood scales. All from the same purveyor.
I am not a maker, rather a collector/user that buys custom knives. At one point I counted over 200.
So, here are a few thoughts from this buyer/collector/user’s perspective.
Every picture tells a story.

Anywho, you sell the sizzle, not the steak.
I'd say put up your work with an interesting photo spread, and details on Hunting forums, Blade Forums, Instagram and FaceBook.
Perhaps upload videos to YouTube and provide links showing your creations being used.

Folks that are interested will contact you.
Most of my customs were purchased due to pics posted by members of differing gun/hunting forums. I would later contact them to discuss a commission.
At the zenith of my collecting/using, I had 50+ customs by one maker. It started with him contacting me. He said,” I like your pictures, I'd like to make you a knife.” He did, and charged full price. We developed a friendship and I like to think that I helped put his daughters through school. LOL. Kinda like being an addict and he was my dealer.
I now count a number of makers as friends. These days it’s more about life than knives. Course there always is a bit of knife palaver, ones the worlds troubles have been solved, and as always, I’m just one knife away from being satisfied.
Ya!
