I hunted there about 5 years ago. I hunted hard for 4 days and never saw an animal. The success rate is low for that area. You could get lucky though.

That twas me stomping grounds, back whin it first opened ta public.
Archery only deer/hogs. Lots of oak trees, some of the old ATV trails was like walking on marbles.
Took a few hunts b4 seeing deer. & then mostly out of range. Hunted out of chain on & eventually
climb on stands. Could see good distances, used that ta pattern deer, moved closer. Majority of
me deer/hog archery hunts were 1/2 - 3/4 mile from roads.
The hog only hunts Jan-end March hunts. Tis whin did me walk-a-bout hunts. Archery had set up on
areas hogs had litterly torn up. Soon realized majority of that twas done @ night. So the gun hunts
hunted further out. Got off the trails, switch cain, palmedda plants, downed trees, & the tall grass
twas hot spots for hogs. While trailing a big hog came across hundreds of hogs bikes down ta
8-10#ers. That twas back whin it first opened. The K-47s started showing up & it put a dent in em.
Seen lots of hogs left, not recovered. Started using AR, it easier, lighter ta manover than me 30-30.
Carried 5 round clip. Took down couple hogs roughly little over mile back in right @ dark thirty.
Had ta littery chase the others away. Gutted both, & started dragging, small one first, walked back,
grabbed big one, dragged, didn't get very far, walked ta rifle & moved it ta smaller one for second wind. Dragged big one ta small one. Repeat, did that a few times, it dark by then. So, walked back ta truck, drove home, (b4 cell phones),
called a friend, he had a friend thar, & we meet up & WMA. With 3 of us it still took over 3 hours from time arrived, ta getting hogs out. Had carried my military back pack with & cut the bigger one up.
That's whin started carring back pack, & skinned hog ta were could get ta back straps, then work around hind & front quarters. Furthest hog twas little over 3 miles back in, (huntsolo). That twas b4 the health problems. Reason got on this forum, try find others who wanted ta do some hog hunting. Would walk threw the woods, checking downed trees,
switch cain, areas had good luck finding hogs, once got mile or so off main road, (separated east/west part, camping rd) 99% of time twas seeing hogs. Used ta carry small Canon camera take pics/videos.
Whin it floods, can see the deer & hogs moving out. Took my jonboat out several times & found the few high areas, cam back with hogs every time. Day time they usually bedded up, lots of walking, would spend sun up & come out in the dark. No disrespect ta
rolyat.nosaj as many hogs reported in

thars hogs @ OSBWMA.
As far as duck hunting, knew several that have had good luck , thars two lakes, longline, & forget the other. Hoard road parking head east, & usdta b trail that went ta one of the lakes.
Deer, thars twas some nice ones or was whin I hunted. Seen one that i called the yard-stick buck. Widest rack ever seen. Anyways, the guys that worked thar were good folks, easy going. i always carried a fanny pack, camera, with GPS, & would right down rubs, scrapes, bedding, hogs/deersightings on a pocket sized not pad, hunted other WMA's
ta keep track of things, had roughly 4ta5 books full of grid.
Just my

for hog hunts, it twas my ta go to place, & it held some nice deer down thar.
But it Ben years since been thar.
Best wish's Stay safe.
