Yes, those would have been good eating size. But we've already got plenty in the freezer. With this batch, we've killed 42 this year.

Remington 550. Great little rifle if you can find one. Will reliably cycle longs or shorts. Will even cycle cci quiet shorts.

Killed 42, with I'm betting no really noticeable decline in population. Ami right? You can't tell any are missing. But we are trying. Last year, we caught something like 32 in the trap at one set. That did seem to knock the population back. Was a while before we saw large groups of them.
