Landowner in Panola county texted to tell me they were digging up the neighbors yard and to come harass them off the property. Mission accomplished. Not for long I am sure. I'll be back.

Oh yeah, they'll be back.
Death, Taxes, and more hogs.

Nothing special. Remington 700 Classic in 6.5x55, cheap Prvi Partizan SP ammo, very old Leupold 2x7 scope. 50 yards through thick woods in low light. 2nd pig hit on a rushed 2nd running shot that left a spot of blood, but 2nd pig not found. I had planned to walk the fields with a night vision AR, but I found the grass had not been cut and bailed in a while so too high to be huntable that way. Funny how they come and go. For the last year the hogs had all but vanished off the property, but from the amount of rooting I found in the woods on this trip, including rooting up peoples yards who live in the area, they are back in force. Considering we get to hunt free in exchange for hog control, it is bitter sweet. Bad they returned, but keeps our foot in the door.

See if you can figure out what this one is doing. Running around after getting shot. It ran around for at least 5 min before I get tired of watching.

Sniper John, any time you see a feral hog on huntable land, let me assure you, it is YOUR Turn.
