Long post, and pic heavy. Enjoy!

My daughter and son-in-law work in the school system, and decided to take their last two weeks off to go to Northern Italy and see/do as much of it as possible. They fell in love with the food, drinks, and overall friendship they found there. To celebrate, last night she decided to have everyone over for a Taste of Italy party. A good friend is a professional chef here in Boise, and he came over for the entire afternoon to help her out!!

Most of the stuff in pictures-
Focaccia bread with sun dried tomatoes
Strawberry rhubarb ricotta cakes
Pickled veggie tray
Two different bruschettas, basil and Romano
3 pastas-tortellini, manicotti, and veal ravioli
Alfredo or Bolognese sauces
Prosciutto wrapped melon slices
Lemon pudding yellow cake, with fresh blueberries and meringue

After stuffing ourselves, men were allowed to retire and drink whiskey. The girls all chatted, drank Soave Classico, and played with little kids while cleaning up.

I gained 3 lbs just looking at those pics! great looking vittles for sure!!!!

Man that all looks great, Would have to have the Insulin pump fully charged and filled with insulin before starting a meal like that.
