Front tire on one of my ATV's has a gash in it. I Patched it, but I'm not sure it will hold, so I've been looking at replacements. Just used for Ranch detail, so I don't need super aggressive, and it will never see asphalt or concrete except parking it in the storage building. Looking at OEM style treads I have found Carlisle (I recognize this brand at least) for $110 per tire. I also found sunf and Wanda for $122 for the pair. It sure would be nice to pay half, but are they chit tires and will I regret it if I go the cheap route? Anyone have experience with sunf or wanda tires?

My buddy was too cheap to buy new tires for his UTV, so he looked to FB Marketplace and found good condition OEM tires that people pull off for after market tires. I think he paid under $100 per tire/rim.

Not sure if you are in mud or rock but ITP Mud Lite's are awesome in mud and red clay. For rock, I am not sure with info there.

The SunF tires are actually pretty good tires. My BIL put them on his Honda Foreman and they are holding up well. I have them on my Zero Turn and again, they are doing great. The Honda just went through some very sharp rocky trails without an issue, so they should survive typical Texas terrains.

Around Corsicana. Terrain isn't typical thorny Texas terrain where everything wants to bite or stab you. I think there are 5 mesquite trees on 250 acres, and probably two rocks.

Check around on Facebook marketplace, sometimes there will be complete sets of factory takeoffs for a pretty reasonable price.

if you do not want to ever worry about your tires again put Run Flats on the buggy - they are Kevlar and I have run them for years

I've had great luck with the Wandas on 3 different Honda Ranchers and Foremans and 4 Mules.
Wanda actually makes a 6 ply tire for Mules that is rated for 1000 pounds per tire for heavier UTVs.

I have a used set of Ranger take offs for sale if they would work. A little bigger than what you are looking at, but a little more ground clearance can never hurt!

I bought Wanda tires for the Honda Rancher. No problems.

I'd hold out for new take off's. FB market place maybe........
Next Year, that's where I will look. My original tires on the Ranger are Maxxis and have been great. I see those taken off new all the time and wonder why. SEALANT. Did I mention SEALANT? The red stuff sold ad Farm stores and mom and pop tire shops. Discount Tire sells it as well. That is the great equalizer IMO. I'm not sure of the brand name, but it's made by a company in Boyd, Texas and sold all over the SW. I'm in the panhandle mesquite and cactus country and have never had a flat in three years and I go everywhere.

An unethical shot is one you take, that you know you shouldn't.

I got a really good deal on some take offs at the dealership where we bought our mule, had the wheels still attached but a different hole pattern, twenty dollars at a tireshop and we had brand new tires.

took some research, but I found some 10-12 ply run-flat tires for my Kubota RTV. Weren't near as aggressive as I would have liked but they worked fine. I ran the Essex Surefoot on several of my older RTVs with great success but they are no longer being made. only reason I switched. I sold that RTV, so not sure what brand those were. I will likely start looking in the next month for similar to update my RTV 1140.

I bought these for my Mule last year, they are 8 ply with extra reinforced sidewalls, and I also put Flat Out off road tire sealant in them. They are good tires for heavy loads and ride smooth
