What do you guys think this is? I know it's small because it's standing on a cut branch that is right in front of the camera. It seems to be very light without much pattern but I believe it's because of the light from the flash. The head is what has me guessing. It just doesn't look like a bobcat. However, with where this is located on the ranch I'd be very surprised if it were a tom cat. How big is the branch? Looks like a house cat to me.

Probably about 2 inches in diameter. We do get pics of ringtails from time to time but the ears look too pointy to me.
I agree the most likely answer is house cat. But man, he's really out in the middle nowhere.

Ringtail was my first thought. I was going to ask you if you have them on your place but it looks like you already answered that. So I am going with my first instinct which is Ringtail.

Looks like a Ringtail to me. Short legs and the right color.
