The feeder he’s by is a 500lb feeder. My guess is 250lbs. What are y’all’s best guess on his size.

He's in front of the feeder, so perspective makes it hard to determine based on feeder size. I think 200ish lbs is probably a good guess. Ground check him and let us know.

The correct answer is: Who cares..........!

ALL feral hogs need to shot and killed. So stop wasting time.

So we have 160-350 as the guessed. I am 100% certain that hog is within that range, but HunterGuy, you probably knew that already, as well, LOL.

Just goes to show that as a group, people can't tell squat about hog weights and pictures.

They are never as big as you think unless it is one you shot. They`re just not.

I know a professed hog expert who always guessed pretty good boars @ 225-250 until he shot one about the same size and his estimates immediately shot up past 350.

agree, or maybe even less.

I have a friend that has gotten big into hog hunting and he was always bragging on all these 250-300+ pound pigs he was shooting. I told him to buy a scale and adjust his estimates on weight. He did and quickly apologized that he was "way" over estimating.

There was a guy on here who shall go unnamed, showed a video of him shooting a "300+# hog", and then he goes and throws it around like a sack of potatoes....I called him out for the gross weight over-estimate and he admitted he didn't actually weigh it.

A 300# hog is a beast and incredibly difficult to move let alone hulk around by human power. Even with straps and a good hand hold, 300# of dead weight is just not fun. My guess is a lot of people guess 125-150# is closer to 250 the same way a 3# bass is a 7# bass..... bs
