I have a place there. It was much better 10 years ago in my part of the county. There is a day lease nearby and several high fence properties there now. Neighbors and the day lease shoot anything with antlers and very few does. Now a 140in deer is a big deer. Don't just look at the potential lease, but at the nearby properties too if you want quality shooters. I personally prefer early season does for the meat, and spend the rest of the season looking for a trophy and varmints. We haven't taken a 150in in at least 10 years. SE Collingsworth has better results. Drop by A&K Processing in Wellington and talk with the people there and listen to where they say the larger animals are coming from. Good luck!
