My son helped me put up what hopefully will be my last corral trap. For now, it'll be the only one with a cell drop gate. I had it at another corral and it took my quite a while to get it running, but, wouldn't you know, as soon as I did, no pigs were showing up on camera. This new trap is adjacent to a water tank, hence the name. The water nearby should improve swine traffic. My other two corrals are pretty hell-for-stout, made out of overlaid gates. We'll see how just hog panels hold up; tied to t-posts, with smaller posts in the middle, some rebar, some dinky garden stakes left by my house's previous owner. Panels are overlapped and bolted with cable clamps (as flinknapper suggested), but some of the Chinese castings snapped as soon as you put any amount of torque on it. Thanks Home Depot. realmad

These two boaritos were showing up virtually every night at the feeder, before I dropped the materials off and we started assembly. We'll see if they adapt and come in. rifle

I'm sure there's reinforcing and repairs in my future. up

That fence looks pretty low to keep upset hogs inside.

You should see what a revered member on here welded up for me once. 3' tall. 'Charged a lot of coin for it too. I didn't know any better. I've since overlaid it with taller panels.

Hey, but thanks for your support. How tall are your trap panels?

Just these 6 so far, last Saturday. 'Took a while. Others are checking it out, but they're pretty dang leary. When I get all the deer feeders going, I'll bait all the nearby box traps for a pre-season "purge" hopefully.

Thanks for asking!
