We have for sale New Mexico unit 9 landowner elk authorizations. An elk authorization will allow you to buy an elk license across the counter. We have unit wide Elk Archery and Muzzleloader authorizations for sale. The elk authorizations are unit wide which will allow you to hunt on any legally accessible public land in the unit or on any ranch that has signed up as a unit wide ranch to obtain licenses. You can get a list of all unit wide ranches from the Game and Fish web site. OnX has a layer, that will show you which ranches are unit wide, and you can legally access then without obtaining permission. The Elk Archery authorizations are valid for your choice of one of the two archery seasons, September 1-14 or September 15-24. The bag limit for the archery tags is Either sex or any elk. The Muzzleloader authorizations are valid for your choice of one of the four available hunts; October 5-9 Mature Bull (Mobility impaired hunt only); October 12-16, Mature Bull; October 19-23; Mature Bull or October 26-30. When you buy an authorization, we will send you waypoints from OnX of locations where we have either harvested elk or chased elk in the past. These hunts are DIY hunts.
