Getting a stump ground down in my back yard this morning, got a kick out of this….my old Vanguard 35hp grinded more stumps than this one I bet. smile ani

I’m not renting it. Had a tree company cut down this tree it was dying, same company grinding the stump down.

Made some good memories with my ol 35hp Vangard. Ran it hard 10 years, sold it 7 months ago.

It was huge. I have a 2 story house and it shaded the whole house and back yard. I moved into this house in 2013 and it was already dying, tried to save it for 10 years, consulted with many arborists. They climbed it, and would cut one piece at a time from the top, with rope tied to each piece they cut, to let it drop slowly to the ground, with some pretty cleaver rope work as it had huge branches going over my house.

Saw another one this morning going to work, snapped a quick photo. Not sure if this 35hp, or model. Looks newer, but for sure looks like a Vanguard.
