Y’all know me…had some Scheels credit and saw they had gotten the new Pures so got them a couple days ago but just today unboxed them. Took them to the range and put them along side the 15X Bushnell Forge’s that has the built in reticle. Not much of a contest although for the cost those Forges are very good and money well spent. I may hold onto them just for the reticle but man those Pures are just that…Pure! Me and a buddy jumped back and forth looking at detail/ mirage of which there was a ton and there was no doubt about which was better. Also the fact that these are pretty svelte for 14x52mm and especially compared to the Forge’s which are heavy and huge. I didn’t try to hand hold them to see how that would go but I am sure with some sort of rest they would be fine but I doubt I will put a headrest on them as I plan to use them on a tripod at matches and hunting. Not much of any revelation in this post I guess… their Swaro and what you would expect from them.

I've got no use for their rifle scopes.

Sell me your 12’s at a price I’ll over look the missing range finder in them Pure’s are the only binos I looked through and my only thought was WOW…they are impressive.

I sold the 12X last Fall after elk season. I kinda decided the 12 wasn’t enough more than the 10x to have both and that’s when I got the 15x Forges. A little early to say for sure but based on my first day of playing with the 14x they may be around as long as my first pair of SLC’s 10x which was 30 years.

I've got no use for their rifle scopes. You can use their riflescopes, but you are hard on your equipment and that would inevitably lead to failure.

I was hired to get DOPE on a rifle wearing a Swarovski scope. I got zeroed at 100, dialed 200 and then set those goofy rings with the colored studs on the turret. Repeat at 300 and 400 yards. I was out of those rings, bit thought I'd give him a bonus and dial for 500 yards. The elevation turret ran out of travel, before I could dial to 500 yards. Pathetic.

Missed this reply...I seem to be the king of replying and not ever coming back to see what was said after HA! Interesting and quite the endorsement for the 14's. Glad you liked them and thanks for the review.

And very nice turret, it’s just really bulky The Z series has limited travel and notorious for not returning to zero when you max it out Judd buy the 14x so I can borrow them
