The TWA holds its annual convention this weekend at the J W Marriot, San Antonio. This is an event where I have the opportunity to visit with a lot of old friends. If you attend, please come by and say hello as I will be exhibiting.

I’ll be there as usual. It’s a great organization and a great event. Part of it is the Statewide Texas Big Game Awards. Lots of big deer heads are on display.
At some point in life its time to quit chasing the pot of gold and just enjoy the rainbow. FR

I went to the Private Lands Summit only last year. Although I paid in advance, and checked in, the ladies didn't give me the tickets to get in and the meal ticket. Kind of lame. Luckily the kids manning the doors had common sense.
This year the Summit agenda was all about water. Pass. I didn't see any breakout sessions/seminars on the website. Y'all have fun. Not worth the 1604 hassle.

The educational seminars are the same time slots on the agenda as previous years. The entire convention schedule is very similar to years past.
The lunch on Sat is the Statewide TBGA when all the big deer killed last year get recognized and most are usually on display. It seems it’s usually around 30 to 50 heads, including Texas Slams.
