What does everyone think about the deer hunting in this general area?

Big deer?

Mule deer or whitetail?

Any pronghorns?

General thoughts?

Thanks and

God Bless,

Dale

I hunted the Miller Brothers ranch north of Gail, big whitetail, when it rains out that way. Mule Deer seem to be in the northern part of the county. Some pronghorn but very few. Has hogs and lots of Aoudad in the Caprock.

I enjoyed hunting there in the caprock area. Pretty county, except for all the windmills and solar panel farms.

My wife's uncle had a place about 15-20 miles south of Gail that we hunted.
There were not many deer but there were some real nice bucks in that area.
Occasionally we would see and shoot some hogs too.
