Have for quite sometime wanted to go on a semi guided hunt for one of those Big Hairy Canadian Whitetail Bucks, want to make this hunt happen by next year at the latest.
So for the people in the know on here, where would you go, Alberta, Saskatchewan or Manitoba?

I'm not familiar with the whitetail in Manitoba, but both Alberta and Saskatchewan have great deer hunting.

I have not gone before but my business partner, his brother and dad went for years in Saskatchewan. They all say the same thing.....it’s bitter cold. Usually in a tree stand although some outfitters have heated box blinds, both hunting over a bait pile.

His dad killed a 185", partner killed a 164".

I refuse to go up there because its so cold. I don't want to kill a whitetail that bad, I don't care if it is 180" or better

For it is not the quarry that we truly seek, but the adventure.

TXTrophy is right...bitter cold. I hunted Alberta some years ago, mid november. was between -5 and -15F all week long. Best purchase I made was a pair of military surplus "mickey mouse" boots. My feet were the only part of me that wasnt cold...

A friend of mine went and it's all day long sits in a tower blind with heater. They give you a jug to pee in and tell you do not get out of the blind. He killed a big one on day 4 but too much time in a blind by yourself.

I have an old Navy buddy that does Alberta every year or so. He has killed some really big bucks there.
