I am going to be starting a teaching job down in Los Fresnos this fall and will be coming down from the Amarillo area. Needless to say there is a big difference in the 2 areas. I have done no hunting that far south in TX and an looking for some info on the WMAs and Refuges from Corpus Christi and south. I am a meat hunter with no regard for antlers so I am looking for places where I can get a couple of does or meat hogs. So any ranches doing that sort of thing would also work out.

I am not looking for anybody's homey holes just guidance on the best places or people to check into. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
