This doe has been showing up alone at the pond during the middle of the day for several weeks. I suspect she's following a pattern that researchers have found lessens the chance of predators following her back to her fawn. Now it appears she's trying to limit her fawn's movement to the middle of the day as well. Something to think about if your feeders are set to go off in the early evening when predators are beginning their nightly hunts.
